Waterjet Cutting

Our ability to waterjet cut materials using plain water allows us to process a diverse range of materials. Waterjet cutting is an ideal method for providing rapid prototypes while designing parts as well

Tool free cutting using a stream of water with forces of 55,000 PSI yields fast production rates from our Waterjet Machining Center. Our single head and 4-head waterjet machines cut a diverse range of materials including:

  • Plastics up to 0.093″
  • Mylar, Lexan, Formex, PVC and other films
  • Dense rubbers
  • Thermal transfer materials, including Gap-Pad and Sil-Pad

Advantages of Waterjet Cutting:

  • Improved cutting tolerances
  • Improved lead times
  • ability to provide complex geometry
  • Ability to process difficult to cut materials
  • Sizes up to 1.5m squared and larger
